This article, Holiday Gifts for the DIYer in Your Life, is sponsored by Chamberlain. All opinions are 100% my own.
I have been consistently crafting and doing DIY projects for over five years now. I typically do three or more projects a week and have written over 1,000 articles on my experience! As an avid crafty DIYer, I feel like I have the experience and knowhow for a great list of stocking stuffers and holiday gifts for the DIYer in your life.
#1: MyQ Garage
It all starts in the garage. All my electric tools and machinery are stored there. My larger projects and painting are all done in the garage. Because of this, I want to make sure all my precious tools are safe and sound, which brings me to the first holiday gift idea. The MyQ Garage™ makes a great holiday gift for the techie or DIYer in your life. I installed my Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage door opener with MyQ® smartphone control when I decluttered and improved my garage and after using and loving it so much I installed a MyQ Garage in my best friend’s garage. The MyQ Garage™ is a universal accessory that works with most garage door openers made after 1993. You can add MyQ Garage to your existing garage door opener for smartphone control of your garage door. The smartphone app lets you monitor and control your garage door anytime from anywhere.
You can set up alerts to receive push notifications to your smartphone whenever your garage door opens/closes or remains open for an extended period of time. This is one of my favorite features because it gives me peace of mind knowing that my garage door is closed.
#2: Matching Toolset
I’m not going to lie, I get a little giddy each time I break out my matching blue toolset. It’s a great novelty that a DIYer may not necessarily think to buy his or herself, but will love once they have their own. You can find them in different colors and patterns to fit every style.
#3: Paint Brush Sets
You can wrap and package a set of brushes or individually wrap a few for a stocking. You can buy bristle brushes, foam brushes, and even stencil spouncers, all of which come in a variety of sizes that work for different craft and furniture projects.
#4: Clicker® Universal Garage Door Remote
The Chamberlain Clicker® Universal Garage Door Remote is a great stocking stuffer or small holiday gift idea. It works with all major brands for both your garage door and your electric gates and comes in multiple color options like, Black, Pink and Blue. There are two buttons in case you need program two garage doors. There’s also the brand new Mini Garage Door Remote that can fit in your pocket or on a key ring.
#5: Paint, Paint, and More Paint
I use paint for many of my projects. I use acrylic paints, a great stocking stuffer, for many of my craft projects, and I also use spray paint for many of my home décor projects or small furniture projects. Pick a pallet of paint you think your DIYer would like and wrap it up for their next colorful project.
A great pair of scissors can last a lifetime. Choose a pair for your DIYer to use for sewing, craft, or upholstery projects. Buy one multiuse pair for a stocking stuffer or a set of different kinds like fabric, mixed media, or hardware shears as a gift.
#7: Set of Pliers and Wire Cutters
Pliers and wire cutters come in handy for DIY projects both small and large. A great sturdy set is a must-have for every DIYer. You can purchase slip joint pliers for tightening and loosening, long nose and diagonal pliers and wire cutters.
Whether the DIYer in your life is a techie and needs the MyQ Garage or is a DIY diva and needs a pink toolset, there are several gifting options for you to choose from.
