Toilet Paper Roll Four Leaf Clover
I thought we should make ourselves a lucky charm for St. Patrick’s Day coming up, so we made our own lucky toilet paper roll four leaf clover. I got this idea when we made our toilet paper roll hearts for Valentine’s Day. This came by accident when I had randomly saw my Valentines hearts in the formation of a four leave clover on my craft table. It was a complete accident and luckily (see it’s already bringing me luck) I remembered to do it for St. Patty’s Day!
You only need a few things to make them.
Materials:
- Toilet paper or paper towel roll
- Scissors
- Green paint
- Paint brush
- Glue
First start with a toilet paper roll (I don’t know why I felt the need to take a picture of a toilet paper roll. It’s not like you don’t know what one looks like!)
I had my daughter paint it green. She loves to paint and this craft paint easily wipes off.
Once it dried, I cut out five equal widths, four for the leaves, and one for the stem. I shaped the leaves into hearts like we did for our Valentine’s hearts. For the stem, we simply pinched the circle closed to form a stem. This way, it is painted on both sides and is actually the perfect length.
Using a hot glue gun, I glued the leaves and stem together.
There you have it! A simple four leaf clover! You can make several and string them together to make a garland. Consider painting them in different shades of green.
We put this one on our Leprechaun trap as a decoration!
So cute!!!!
Thank you, Debbie!
