Black, White, and Green Nursery Tour
I have to admit. I didn’t think we would have a second child. Not that we didn’t try, but being almost 40 and trying to have a baby was difficult. There were a ton of problems that I’m sure many women my age goes through and I had to come to terms with Mia being an only child. We were happy with our little family of three and then all of a sudden I was pregnant with a healthy baby girl. I just turned 40 this month and this little black, white, and green nursery tour is more of a celebration than a home décor post.
When you first come it, you see the crib. We bought the DaVinci Jenny Lind crib in black.
Above the crib I found some framed prints in the clearance section at Hobby Lobby. I added some green ribbon as hangers to match the room.
Beyond the crib is a bench window seat, which I love. It opens up and has a ton of storage. I added some pillows and another print with green ribbon that says “be yourself”.
The other side of the room has a rocker and changing table.
I made this little repurposed coat hanger out of an old flooring plank.
I also found this side table at Goodwill for $7. I refurbished it, painted it black, and changed the hardware.
I made the artwork above the changing table (tutorial to come soon) with the baby’s name.
In four weeks the baby will be here! Can’t wait to introduce her!
Love it!
Oh Dinah! Congratulations!!! What a great birthday present!
The nursery is a dream! Wonderful job!
Thank you so much, Steph! We are so excited!
