Last Minute Elf Shenanigans

Fun Last Minute Elf Shenanigans with FREE Printables

If you follow me on Instagram, you see first-hand my daily elf obsession at this time of year. With Christmas right around the corner, I wanted to share my Last Minute Elf Shenanigans for this year.

In case you missed them, here are two new FREE I made this year:

  • NORTH POLE OR BUST ELF PRINTABLES – Use these with any toy car!
  • MINI ELF REPORTS AND KINDNESS CARDS – Elf size paperwork, plus how to make mini photos of your kids for your elf’s desk.

DIY Elf Straw Ladder

This was our elf arrival this year. Josie showed up climbing a ladder trying to get inside a giant box of Twix candy bars.  I purchased this box of a dozen Twix bars at Walmart.

DIY Elf Ladder with Straws

To make the ladder, simply cut straws to size and hot glue them together. I found that paper straws are more sturdy than plastic straws.

Elf in a Bowl of Cereal

Another Walmart find, I had to try this Elf on the Shelf cereal. Of course, you can use any cereal. Our elf showed up sitting inside a bowl full with spoon and set the table for the kids for their breakfast.

Dinosaur Wrecks Gingerbread House

My kids made gingerbread houses at their Grandmother’s house. After a few days, the houses went half eaten and forgotten about.  So, on this day, a dinosaur showed up wrecking the remains of their gingerbread houses.

Elf on a Horse

For sure a Last Minute Elf Shenanigan…enough said.

Everyone Poops Elf

I didn’t make a printable for this one because, I didn’t make the design, but here’s how you make it yourself.

  1. Google “Everyone Poops” in Google Images.
  2. Save the image on your computer and add it to a Word Document.
  3. Resize it and cut and fold into a mini book.

I went a bit further and added the back of the book as well as some pages inside. Josie showed up in a clear glass with chocolate chips on the bottom reading her Everyone Poops book.

I See London I see France Printable

I used a clip magnet and a pair of the kid’s underwear for this one. I had to pin Josie’s head onto the underwear because her head kept falling forward. The sign says, “I see London, I see France, I am stuck in your underpants.”

Elf Ugly Sweater Dress

Josie got into my left-over craft supplies and made an Ugly Sweater Dress. Here is what you need to make one:

  • Felt Scraps
  • Hot Glue and Glue Gun
  • Velcro
  • Scissors
  • Sharpies
  • Ribbon

I raided my craft supplies for this one. It took me less than five minutes and was fun to make. I decided to make a tube top dress because it was quick and easy. It also doesn’t need to be perfect; it’s ugly after all!

I hope you like these new ideas! Here are free more FREE printables I have shared in the past:
