Briefcase Candy Notes For Dad

I know Valentine’s Day is coming up, but I don’t think you need a holiday or special occasion to send sweet and thoughtful notes to a loved one.  I think the best thing is sending them little surprises when they least expect it. My husband LOVES candy. When he hurt his foot a while back, we would put a candy bar in his briefcase with a little candy saying. For example, we put a Butterfinger candy bar with a tag that said, “We love you so much BUTTERFINGERS can’t count that high!” For a full list of fun candy sayings check out my Sweet Gift Idea post. Anyway, I kept it up five days a week for over a month! I wanted to get back to it, maybe do it once a week, so we made some new briefcase candy notes for Daddy.

Here’s what we used:

First we cut out some letters. You can always hand write the notes or print them on your computer.  You can even cut words out of old books or magazines.

We covered our candy in colorful paper from our paper scraps bin.

One by one we glued on our message with a glue stick.

Now we have to hide them somewhere so he won’t see them. Oh! And we have to remember to slip them in his briefcase! Hope you like our briefcase candy notes! Don’t forget to check out those candy sayings too. There are some good ones!
