Elf on the Shelf DIY Cooking Apron

How to Make a no Sew Elf on the Shelf DIY Cooking Apron

Over the years, there have been many times that out elf Josie has been caught in the kitchen. So, even though I have made her an apron skirt, I thought she also needed an Elf on the Shelf DIY Cooking Apron.

We have caught her baking a pie and some brownies, hanging out in the pantry and refrigerator, and hanging out by the oven. She has even brought Mia freshly baked teeny tiny gingerbread cookies. So I thought it was appropriate to make her a cooking apron for all her kitchen related antics.

First, here is a video of some of my ideas. Enjoy!

Here’s What You Need

Elf on the Shelf DIY Cooking Apron Instructions

The first thing I did was eyeball the size I needed. I cut the main shape of the apron out of felt.  The size will differ, depending on your elf. You can buy felt sheets for about $.50 at any craft store like Michaels. Don’t forget your coupon!

I used some ribbon for straps, a tie, and some trim and used hot glue to put it all together.

Next, I cut a little rectangle of felt and made a pocket.
