Jeweled Glam Skulls for Halloween

Glam Skulls & Bones

Plastic skulls and bones are awesome, but they are BOR-ING! Upcycle regular skulls with paint, glitter, gems, and pearls. All you need is a little glue and place the gems wherever you see fit. You can also try glitter. These are great for a Pirate themed birthday or Halloween party.

Materials Needed:

  • Bag of Bones
  • Skulls
  • Various Gems
  • Glue

Monster Treat Boxes - DIY Inspired

Monster Party Favor Boxes

Decorate Halloween favor bags in Halloween colors (purple, black, orange, green) with googly eyes and construction paper. Play around with different shapes and colors for the mouths and teeth. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Let your kid’s imagination run wild. If you want, use pompoms or pipe cleaners for hair and arms.

Materials Needed:

  • Treat Boxes
  • Assortment of Candy
  • Construction Paper
  • Wiggly Eyes
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Gold Halloween Home Decor

I love these and can’t wait to put these up this year. This one is simple, and fun to do with your tweens or older kids. We found these spooky creatures at Party City. Get the full tutorial here: DIY Halloween Taxidermy

Materials Needed:

  • Bats
  • Scorpion
  • Other Halloween Creatures
  • Wooden Plaques
  • Paint Brushes
  • Black, Gold, Purple, and Green Paint
  • Hot Glue and Glue Guns

Spooky Candy Filled Hands for Halloween

Spooky Halloween Candy Hands

These are plastic gloves filled with candy and decorated with ribbon and spiders. You can buy a box of 100 gloves at the Dollar Tree. This is a fun craft to do at a Halloween party for kids, or you can pre-make them yourself and “hand” them out (get it???) as party favors.

Materials Needed:

  • Plastic Halloween Ring
  • Assorted Candy
  • Curling Ribbon
  • Plastic Gloves
