DIY Party Ideas

Frozen Fever Party Ideas with Sunflowers

Recently I shared Frozen Fever Party Centerpieces made with fresh flowers, Frozen Fever Inspired Party Bunting made from fabric scraps, and Frozen Themed Gift Wrapping with a handmade Olaf birthday card. Today I want to share how I some Frozen Fever party ideas with sunflowers including a party banner, cake toppers, and favor bags.

Paper Sunflower Party Banner

To make these, I used:

  • Yellow Paper Doilies
  • Brown Scrapbook Paper
  • Circle Craft Punch
  • Glue Stick
  • Rope
  • Hot Glue and Glue Gun

I bought a pack of 50 paper doilies at the craft store, which made about three banners. Each flower uses two doilies. Punch out a brown circle and glue them to the center of the doily.

Using a hot glue gun, glue two flowers together with rope in between.

It also looks good up against the fabric scrap bunting I made.

Sunflower Cake Toppers

To make these, I used:

  • Toothpicks
  • Sunflower Stickers
  • Blue Scrapbook Paper
  • Circle Craft Punch
  • Hot glue and Glue Gun

The easiest way to assemble these is to punch out all your circles first. Put a dab of hot glue onto the back of the flower; add the toothpick, and then a blue circle as a backing.

Frozen Fever Favor Bags

Say that three times fast! OK, so there are no sunflowers on this one, but there is a sun! I looked for an image online and added some text that says, “Thanks for coming! Warm hugs, Lyla”. I printed them out, cut out a border and taped them onto colorful favor bags.
