March Madness Cocktail Recipes

March Madness is almost over!  Tomorrow is the big day so I decided to create something fun and slightly different. This is a drink that I decided to promote at the bar. I personally never enjoyed the Car Bomb shot, so here are some great alternatives for your March Madness party this weekend.

Maple Leaf Bomb recipe:

Ingredients:

  • ⅔ pint Guinness stout
  • ¾ oz. Bailey’s Caramel Irish cream liqueur
  • ¾ oz. Crown Royal Maple Finished whisky

Instructions:

Add the Irish cream and whiskey to a shot glass, layering the Irish cream on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug ⅔ of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. If you don’t drink it fast enough it will curdle.

Traditional Irish Car Bomb recipe:

Ingredients:

  • ⅔ pint Guinness stout
  • ¾ oz. Irish cream liqueur
  • ¾ oz. Irish whiskey

Instructions:

Maple Nut Coffee recipe:

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz. Crown Royal Maple Finished whisky
  • ¾ oz. Hazelnut liqueur
  • ½ oz. Bailey’s Caramel Irish cream liqueur
  • 5 oz. Strong Hot Coffee
  • Garnish: Whipped Cream and chocolate shavings.

Instructions:

Pour Whisky, Irish cream and hazelnut liqueur into an Irish coffee mug. Fill it with coffee.
