Pompom People Kids Craft
So the other day I thought I was going to make your ordinary pompom people kids craft like these guys.
I wasn’t even going to blog about it. But when we were finished, my daughter looked at them and said, “They look like boys.” I looked at her knowing that what she meant by that was, “They look like boys. Let’s make them look like girls.” Ha!! So I raided the craft room… Just in case, here’s how we made them.
Materials:
- Large pompoms
- Paper
- Glue
- Wiggly eyes
- Craft flower
- Feathers
- Hot glue and glue gun
We started out with these cute little pompoms…the fuzzy large size.
We cut out hearts for the feet out of card stock paper scraps.
We glued them on and added some wiggly eyes. Done, right? WRONG!
I looked and found some feathers and some craft flowers I had left over from making this headband and this headband. We made them little feathered hats! I broke out the glue gun for the feathers (it was easier that way because the glue dries quickly and the feather will stand up).
Mia took them and had a tea party for them using her Barbie toys. I thought it was so cute I just had to share it!
