Quick and Easy Flower Headpiece
DIY Hair Accessories:Â Quick and Easy Flower Headpiece
I wasn’t going to do a post today because of the holiday weekend…BUT I COULDN’T DO IT! This blog is an addiction, I tell ya! If you haven’t guessed, I am an extremely calculated person. I HATE to procrastinate and I almost feel a strong anxiety when I do not plan ahead. This includes this blog. I have my posts and projects completed very early. My secret is out. Every post is published exactly at 6am PST Monday to Friday. It has been that was since this blog started in April 2011. Sometimes, I’ll admit, I have projects ready months in advance. I know I’m crazy. Today, IS THE VERY FIRST BLOG POST out of over 500 that I did not plan. Eeeek! With that said I found myself scrambling right before a party yesterday and decided to make this quick and easy headpiece.
Materials I used:
- Flower
- Clip
- Pre-made felt flower
- Felt
- Tulle
- Scissors
- Hot glue & glue gun
Literally minutes before we left I threw this baby together. Thank goodness hot glue dries so quickly. I cut out scraps for blue leaves and a small sliver of tulle.Â
Here’s how it turned out!
This is me posting it on Instagram! Yes. I am in my garage and yes…that is a lot of gray hair.
Soooo, now that I am actually nearing the end of this spur of the moment blog post, I can take a deep breath….Ahhhhhhhhh. Hey! That wasn’t so bad! I really need to do this more often!
Way to cute!
Thank you, Tania!
LOVE it, Dinah! If I ever planned a blog post, I think my site would implode. I’m more of a “Oh crap! that’s due TODAY?” kind of person 🙂
LOL! I really need to get my booty in gear!
Love your blogs! You have such great, fun ideas! I will be visiting often! 🙂
