One of my childhood friends messaged me on Facebook not long ago looking for Beanie Baby party ideas for her son’s birthday coming up. She had mentioned that she had searched the internet and couldn’t find anything. I was delighted by the challenge of creating something she could use. My first thought was to do printables; that way she could just download them and make as many as she needed for the party. So, with the help of my brother, this is what we came up with.
Beanie Baby Party Hat
These cute little hats come in four different color combinations. You can print and cut them out and use them as decorations for the party. Another option is to just print a few out and (depending on the age of the kids) let the kids cut them out, tape them together, and use them for their own Beanie babies.
Beanie Baby Cupcake Toppers
These were designed to look like the iconic Ty tag that comes with each Beanie Baby. The front says, “Beanie Cakies” and the back says “Cupcake sweet, yummy, beanie-cakey, goodness!” The back represents the inside of the Ty tags that come with an original Beanie baby’s name and description.
Simply print and cut them out, tape them to a toothpick, and insert them into the cupcakes. I added some colorful baker’s twine to each tag.
Beanie Baby Party Favors
Lastly, my brother designed a “thank you” tag that says “Beanie Beans” on them. You can make the tag any size you wish. I filled small party bags with colorful chocolate candies.
