Easy DIY Softball Party Decorations
It was my daughter’s first season playing softball and I have to admit, I’m sad it’s over. We had a great team, fantastic coaches, and a wonderful set of supportive parents. Our end of the season softball party was at my house, where we had a pool party. We didn’t have a budget for softball party decorations, but you know me, I just HAD to decorate a little!
Our team this season was called the All American Girls and red was our color. So all season, we had a patriotic theme going. My best friend and Team Mom, Jenny, and I gathered her fourth of July decorations. I grabbed a few sheets of yellow paper and cut out circles with a large circle punch and a red marker for the softball stiches. I made several of them and used them for so many things.
I placed them on skewers and clipped them with clothespins. My little paper softballs lined the entryway, embellished flower arrangements (both real and fake), and clipped to garland.
I also made a sign with the team pictures as a welcome sign on my front gate.
For food we had a potluck and a hot dog bar. We had a ton of toppings, sauces, cheese, and chili.
We gave away the trophies to the girls after they ate and swam and of course gave gifts to the coaches and team mom. It was a nice party to end a great season.
