Family Photoshoot Gift Idea
The kids and I made an early Father’s Day gift this year. I have to say it was so much fun doing this because Mia was cracking me up during the photoshoot. This family photoshoot gift idea came to me because my husband doesn’t have any pictures of the new baby up yet in his office.
Mia and I went to the craft store and found some letters and a “love” sign to say, “we love u” in our photos. Michael’s had several options for the “love” sign. I picked the most masculine sign to fit in my husband’s office.
I wanted to be thrifty so I bought an inexpensive unfinished wooden “U” and painted it black with acrylic craft paint
.
I also didn’t want to spend money on a backdrop or matching clothes, so I just dressed the girls in all white and took the pictures on my bed for a white background. Plus, it was comfy for the baby. I took several pictures and we were laughing the entire time. Here are the three I chose to use. Surprisingly there were several good ones!
I bought a frame at Michael’s and framed it so it spelled out “we love you” in each frame. It turned out so cute, that I ended up not only making one for my husband, but for the grandparents too.
This makes a great Father’s Day or Mother’s Day present or even a Christmas present for the grandparents. I thought about doing one every year. It would be cute to see them as they get older. Hope you like it!
So incredibly cute!
Thank you so much, Sabine!!
