I have to admit. My family loves OREO cookies. A bag is always on our shopping list. Our favorites are regular OREO, Golden OREO, Birthday Cake OREO, Lemon OREO, and now the limited edition Gingerbread Flavored OREO Cookies. With the holidays coming up, I figured I should spread my love for them, and make a small OREO gift to hand out to my friends and neighbors, as well as my daughter’s coaches and teachers.
Materials:
- Limited Edition Gingerbread Flavored OREO Cookies
- White Chocolate Candy Melts
- Bowl
- Wax Paper
- Cupcake Liners
- Gingerbread Man Cookie Decorations
- Plastic Favor Bags
- Baker’s Twine or Ribbon
- Gift Tags (optional)
Melt the white chocolate candy melts in a bowl in the microwave according to the package directions.
Dip each Gingerbread Flavored OREO cookie in the chocolate and lay it flat on wax paper.
Place a gingerbread man cookie decoration on top of the melted chocolate. Allow it to harden.
Stack two or more cookies on a cupcake liner and place in a plastic favor bag.
Add some ribbon and a gift tag to give to your friends and neighbors.
