Kitchen Cleaning Tips with Vinegar

Recently, I wrote a post called, Laundry Tips for Cleaning with Vinegar. Since then, I have been using Four Monks, a non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaner in and around the house. Since the cleaner is all purpose, I have found so many uses for it.  Today, I want to share some kitchen cleaning tips with Four Monks vinegar.

Tip #1: Use Four Monks Vinegar to Clean Kitchen Appliances

Vinegar is great for cleaning the inside of your major kitchen appliances without using harsh chemicals.  You can use the Citrus Mint and Aroma Controlled Spray Bottles to clean the inside of your microwave, oven, and refrigerator.

Fridge Cleaning Tips with Vinegar

You can also use in to clean the inside of your dishwasher. Pour a half cup of Four Monks in the reservoir and the detergent compartment. Run an empty normal cycle. This will help get rid of mineral build up.

Tip #2: Use Four Monks to Clean Utensils

Vinegar can be used for both eating and cooking utensils. To clean your flatware, soak them in vinegar to return their natural luster and shine.

To clean cooking utensils, soak an old toothbrush in Four Monks vinegar and scrub can openers, cheese graters, and more. Rinse them with water and dry them completely.

Tip #3: Use Four Monks as a Deodorizer

Clean the inside of garbage disposals, trash compactors, and trash cans. The Citrus Mint Aroma spray is great for this.

Tip #4 Use Four Monks to Clean Kitchen Surfaces and Countertops

Use the spray and a clean cloth to clean countertops (not recommended for use on granite, marble, or other natural stone surfaces), cabinets, microwave and oven doors, table tops, chairs, and stovetops.

    Lovely post! It’s great to find some interesting and useful new recipes that include vinegar. I just started cleaning after my last holiday guests and the whole house needs a really thorough cleaning. Your suggestions seem to work quite good for me and I’m definitely trying some.
