Easy Four Ingredient Dog Treats
This article, Easy Four Ingredient Dog Treats, is sponsored by Bounty. All opinions are 100% my own.
I have had my dogs Pablo the Chihuahua and Harley the Pug in my life now for over 10 years. My husband is itching to get a third dog to add to our pack. He REALLY wants a bulldog, and to be honest although I think of how hard it is to take care and train messy puppy, I kind of like the idea of a new edition. I told my husband that after our new baby is born, I’d think about it. In the meantime, we do like to take care of Pablo and Harley and Mia and I decided to make them these easy four ingredient dog treats. Making these together is something we will never forget because we had so much fun. Pablo and Harley love them and any new pup will too!
Time: Preparation 15 Minutes, Bake 18-20 Minutes at 375 degrees
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Organic Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 Cup All Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 Cup Milk
Materials:
- Bone Cookie Cutter
- Greased Cookie Sheet
- Two Mixing Bowls
- Mixing Spoon
- Rolling Pin
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In one bowl, mix flour and baking powder.
In second bowl, combine peanut butter and milk.
Gradually add flour mixture to peanut butter mixture to create dough. Knead and roll out the dough on a floured surface. The dough should be about ¼ inch thick.
Cut out bones with cookie cutter. This small cookie cutter made two dozen dog treats.
Place on greased cookie sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Lastly, clean up your mess with Bounty! Bounty is 2X more absorbent so you can tackle pet messes like this one very easily.
On a side note, I have tip for new puppy owners. If your little one has an accident, spray it with 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water. Use a Bounty paper towel to absorb the mess. It works great and is all natural!
Mia and I had a great time making these and this experience will definitely be a memorable one and as a bonus, both of the dogs loved our treats, especially Harley!

These aren’t hard to make at all! Love making treats for my dogs especially ones I know don’t have junk in them!
Super easy! Thank you, Rose for sopping by!!
Thanks you, i love
You are welcome!!
Do you know how long the shelf life is? Or if you can freeze after you bake these?
Hi Dianne! If you place them in an air tight container, they should last 2 months in the refrigerator or 8 months in the freezer.
Can you substitute milk for apple sauce, yogurt, or chicken broth?
To be honest, I have no idea! Sorry I couldn’t be of help!
Easy and the dogs love them. Thanks.
Wonderful! You made my day!
