Gold Glitter Thank You Cards
How to Make Pretty Gold Glitter Thank You Cards
I have a lot to be thankful for this year, including a new addition to our family. Before the baby, my best friends threw an intimate and gorgeous baby shower for me. They didn’t have to do this, after all this is my second kid, but they insisted since my children are over five years a part in age and I got rid of everything! I was so appreciative of this beautiful baby shower that I had to make these personalized gold glitter thank you cards for each of the attendees.
This technically isn’t a tutorial, I just wanted to share these little handmade cards I made because I am so happy to have the friends I have and wanted to acknowledge each of them.
Ideally I wanted to handwrite a personal thank you note, but being 8 months pregnant at the time with carpal tunnel syndrome, I had to type each one (and even that was a little tough). I used iPiccy.com to design the card and type out each thank you note.
I bought and cut out some glittered cardstock as a background for the card.
As a final touch, I bought craft flowers with a pearl in the middle from Michaels Craft Stores and attached it to each one. On a side note, this little flower will cost in extra postage, however it’s worth it! I even got some thank yous for the thank yous! Ha!
Here are a few photos.
I am so blessed to be surrounded by amazing friends and family. Little things like this make me happy and I just had to share it. Thanks for reading!
