Radiant Orchid DIY Spring Door Decoration
I’m loving spring and I’m so excited to partner up and sponsored again with Jo-Ann Fabric And Craft Stores®! Jo-Ann makes spring crafting easy during National Craft Month with a $5 off $25 or more purchase coupon and a spring crafting inspiration website. I have been anxious to make something incorporating the 2014 Spring Trend Radiant Orchid for my home. I decided on making a DIY Spring Door Decoration.
Jo-Ann Shopping List:
- Grapevine hanging basket
- Burlap Ribbon
- Wooden Numbers
- Orchid Craft Paint
- Paint Brush
- Lace Ribbon
- Spring Inspirations Flower Assortment
- Safety Pin
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Instructions:
First, I painted my house numbers a beautiful orchid color with acrylic craft paint and let it dry.
Next, I layered the lace on top of the burlap, and hot glued the dry painted numbers on top.
Here’s a close up.
Wrap it around your grapevine basket and secure it with a safety pin. I don’t like to glue it because I like to change my basket each season like this and like this.
Jo-Ann Fabric And Craft Stores® has the most beautiful selection of artificial flowers. I chose three different ones for my arrangement to fit the Radiant Orchid theme.
Aren’t they pretty??? Next, arrange the flowers inside of your basket…
… and hang it on your front door!
I absolutely ADORE it!!! Now I really want to make something else in radiant orchid!
