Can you believe that on Sunday we had our end of season soccer POOL party? Yep. It was almost 90 degrees out here in sunny SoCal. Our amazing group of seven-year-old girls had a blast, so much that I didn’t even mind the heat. I thought I’d share some of our soccer party theme ideas (no pool needed). We were the purple team, the Darling Dreams to be exact, but these ideas can be used for any age group or team color.
I first should start out by saying that our Team Mom, Stacy pulled all of this together. She went out of her way to make sure our girls had a blast. I just added a few of my DIY Inspired touches to try and help her out.
I laid out some fake green grass table runners for the things we needed to keep out of the sun. On a side note, I found them in the Target dollar bins a while ago and I use them all the time for football parties and even Easter. Stacy ordered some sweet treats including soccer ball cake pops and cookies. She also had some brownies.
For food we did it pot luck style. We ordered pizzas and then the parents signed up to bring appetizers, salads, side dishes, and drinks. It worked out perfectly.
I made a little logo for our team the Darling Dreams. I attached them to the party favors including personalized water bottles and the soccer bracelets I made.
Stacy also bought the coaches gifts. They were little baskets with gift cards, lotto tickets, a bottle of beer, and beef stick. I turned our team picture into a little gift tag and added the coaches name, thanking them for a great season.
Outside, I set up some tables and placed tan table clothes more fake grass. On top, I placed succulents with the Darling Dreams logo I made on a stick. Very simple, but added a small touch to our outdoor decorations.
I hope you liked these simple soccer party ideas!
