Thanksgiving Recycled Crafts for Kids

Thanksgiving Recycled Crafts for Kids

Thanksgiving is a time of celebration with family and friends. For my family, it’s probably one of the largest gatherings of all the friends and family members of the year. For us, that also means several kiddos running around. I love to have Thanksgiving recycled crafts readily available to the kids. To prepare, I like to save (and hoard) supplies that can be reused as craft supplies.

Here are some items around the house you can save and reuse for crafts:

  • Toilet Paper and Paper Towel Rolls
  • Bottle Caps
  • Food Boxes or Other Small Containers
  • Jars and Lids
  • Newspaper and Magazines
  • Paint Chips
  • Broken Jewelry

You can also have the kids hunt around outside for Thanksgiving craft supplies. Have them look for:

  • Pinecones
  • Acorns
  • Leaves
  • Sticks
  • Rocks

Set up a table for the kids at your Thanksgiving gathering and cover it with newspaper. Set out all of your recycled craft supplies along with some paint and paint brushes, paper scraps, scissors, and glue, and let the kids use their imaginations. You can also opt to have a craft in mind planned out as well.

With the help of some talented fellow Bloggers, I gathered a list of some fun Thanksgiving recycled crafts for kids to get your creativity juices flowing.
