Upcycled Thrift Store Storage Ideas
Cheap and Easy Upcycled Thrift Store Storage Ideas
I went on a crazy thrift store shopping spree and bought some great things. I spent less than $60.00 on my finds form that day. I already made, some pedestal trays, a craft storage jar, and upcycled a $5.00 ottoman. I had these old black CD storage bins left over, so I decided to brainstorm some upcycled thrift store storage ideas.
Grab thrift store baskets
Look out for baskets at your local Goodwill or Salvation Army. Baskets are a great way to organize a closet. Use them for hats and shoes. Add labels to them if desired.
use an old cd storage unit in the pantry
I walked around my house to look at what needs to be organized…yes…I do this all the time. I was in my kitchen and noticed that although hidden, my pantry was a mess! I decided to turn this storage sideways and turn these boxes (this is what happens when you shop at Costco)…
Into this…
SOOOO much better, right?? And so easy! Then I took this CD storage box I got and placed it under my bathroom sink for some much needed extra bathroom storage for small items, like my contact lens boxes, razors, and such.
CD towers and storage is so easy to find at thrift stores these days because frankly CD’s are obsolete. You can buy then SUPER cheap and they can be upcycled into storage for many other things. I think I may look for small ones like the one I used in the pantry to use in my deep dresser drawers to organize my daughters socks and underwear. It’s the perfect size!
recycle food boxes for drawer organization
Of course I couldn’t just throw away the empty boxes. I cut them up and organized my drawers.
I hope you like these easy and budget friendly thrift store storage ideas.
