Best of DIY Inspired 2013
Happy New Year!!!!!! I can’t believe it’s 2014. I remember New Year’s 1994 when I was 18 and thinking that 20 years was SO far away. What happened? Where does the time go? I feel that way with blogging too. It’s been over two and a half years now and just FLYING by. At the end of last year I wrote Top 15 Recycled Crafts and Projects of 2012 and I swear that wasn’t 12 months ago…Geesh! This year I decided to do the Best of DIY Inspired 2013. All nine of these posts have been shared over a thousand times, some several thousand…what?? Here we go!
Best Storage and Organization Post – Craft Room Ideas
This was when I turned an extra room into the official craft room AKA, my sanctuary.
Best Upcycle – Recycled Map Drawer Makeover
As you can see in that last post, my drawers in the craft room were naked. This post took care of that!
Best Trash to Treasure Post – Stuffed Animal Toy Storage
Literally trash to treasure, I turned a plant hanger I found in the garbage into toy storage for my daughter’s room.
Best Recycled Craft Project – Coffee Filter Flowers
I made this bouquet of paper flowers out of coffee filters and book pages.
Best Kid’s “Stuff” Post – Reading Nook for Kids
One of my best ideas to date because it encourages my daughter to read or be read to!
Best Thrift Store Makeover– Painting Old Furniture
Best $5.00 I ever spent 🙂
Best 15 Minute Craft– DIY Rope Vase
This is an easy way to update a boring glass vase.
Best Theme Party – Alice in Wonderland First Birthday
This is another fun theme party from my best friend who just started blogging too! Go visit her at Simply Creative Ways!
Best Holiday Post – Elf on the Shelf Ideas
And finally, this post along with this Two Dozen Elf on the Shelf Ideas post were done in December but shared a lot! Oh and did I mention it started an obsession! Yikes!
wow! you are extremely talented and creative. I love your craft room and what you did with the library for your daughter. 🙂 xoxo
