DIY Circus Theme Cake Topper
Make This Easy Circus Theme Cake Topper
As you may already know, we took my daughter to the circus for her birthday. I am loving this circus theme and had such a fun time making these cute circus party favors that were a hit with the kids. I also wanted to share simple paper craft and easy DIY circus theme cake topper I made for her cake. You only need a few materials.
Materials:
- Two paper straws
- Scissors
- Twine
- Colorful paper
- Two pompoms
- Glue
I cut a one inch strip of red and white striped scrapbook paper that I had left over from the party favors I made. I cut them into little 1”X1” pendants. The red and white stripes made it easy to just eyeball and cut a 45 degree angle.
Fringe makes everything better!! I used some left over blue paper to make these little fringed squares.
Next, I cut two slits on each of the tops of the straws and inserted the twine as shown. It slides right in perfectly.
I glued the pendants to the twine and added a little yellow fuzzy pompom I had left over from some caterpillar clothespins Mia and I made a while ago. You can use any glue. I chose to use hot glue.
There you have it! Instant circus theme cake topper! It’s very quick and easy and costs next to nothing to make.
