Clever and Creative DIY Inspired Elf on the Shelf Ideas
These two dozen or so DIY Inspired Elf on the Shelf ideas are ones that I did at the end of last year and this year so far. I didn’t get to share the last part of 2015 because we moved on December 23rd, so I’m sharing them today. Josie still showed up even though we were moving. She even helped us pack and welcomed us into our new home. You will see a combination of super easy and creative ideas. Our empty house was a little tough so she showed up packing boxes, hanging on empty picture frame hooks and inside cabinets and refrigerators.
This year, she got a little more creative with putting Elf hats on family photos, giving out free kisses in a kissing booth, and doing her own laundry in the laundry room. Josie has been quite busy. She did some work on the laptop, fixed up the jeep, did a bunch of puzzles, went fishing, and even went with us on a road trip. She also wrote a poem to my daughter after she was caught sucking her thumb last year.
