Pretty in Pink Playdate
Fun and Simple Pretty in Pink Playdate Table Decorating Ideas
Two of my best friends and I all had little girls 30 days apart from each other. Needless to say, the three of them are now best friends just like their mommies. Two weeks ago, they started dance classes together. After dance class, all of us get together for a playdate. I just couldn’t help myself the night before our last one and made a special Pretty in Pink table setting for their lunch.
I had some left over plastic sparkling cider glasses from New Year’s and dressed them up with a little lace at the bottom.
I couldn’t resist and added little name tags as well.
I also printed their names and framed them in little frames from the dollar bins at Michael’s. You can hand write them as well.Â
For the centerpiece I simply chose a fun patterned scrapbook paper with a pink try, mercury glass vase, and burlap hydrangeas. I also added a little pink craft butterfly on top.
I found some mini cupcakes from the grocery store and put little white pompoms on top. I used a pedestal tray I made out of a glass candlestick and porcelain tray I found at Goodwill.
I put some lace on little wooden baskets to match the glasses and put pink Sixlets candies inside.
Here are a few more pictures.
It only took a few minutes to do this out of items I already had in my craft room. The girls were so excited when they saw it and it added a little special touch to their playdate. This would be cute for Mother’s day, a birthday party or Valentine’s Day as well.
