Special Occasion Centerpiece Ideas

Special Occasion Centerpiece Ideas

Recently I wrote a post about DIY party favor ideas that you can use for any type of special occasion, holiday, or party theme.  It got me thinking about all the fun party centerpieces I have done!  Depending on styling, color, and placement, a simple lantern can go with whimsical baby shower or a rustic wedding. Here are some special occasion centerpiece ideas that you can use for all types of parties and events.

Mason Jar Madness

Mason Jars are everywhere and I know why! They are easy to get and inexpensive and well.  With the costs of party planning and entertaining, using Mason jars are a cost effective and budget friendly option.  Try layering different colors of glitter like these sparkly Mason jars or paint the jars first with a shimmery paint and then glitter for a Gold and Glittered Mason Jar Centerpiece.

Thrift Store Chic

Sometimes (well… for me ALL of the time), the most beautiful centerpiece ideas come out of a thrift store.  Mix and match pretty thrift store cups, vases, plates, and teapots and fill them with bouquets of flowers for a vintage inspired theme. Gather some inexpensive vases or bottles to make burlap and lace flower holders or a colorful collection of glass.

Make a Statement

Use your crafty skills to make custom panels and place them inside metal lanterns or make an Apothecary Jar Collection Centerpiece. Fill the jars according to your theme. For example, ornaments at Christmas Time, or plastic eggs for Easter. You can also stencil small pieces of burlap fabric to metal or glass vases to make an easy Centerpiece with Stenciled Burlap.
