Thrift Store Mirrors Makeover Gallery Wall
I have been slowly working on my daughter’s room now that she is getting older. So far, I painted a fun pink and yellow striped accent wall and redid her art display frames. I also bought her a desk so that she can do her homework and crafts. I wanted to add some artwork above her loft bed so I went bargain hunting and found some thrift stores mirrors.
Time: 30-40 Minutes
Materials:
- Thrift Store Mirrors
- Sandpaper
- Painter’s Tape
- Newspaper
- Spray Paint
These are the mirrors I found. One was $3.99 and the other was $4.99.
The large circular mirror needed some light sanding.
Instead of removing the mirrors, I found it easier to slide some paper under the frame and tape it in place.
I spray painted one blue and the other purple.
I also had a “love” sign that I used for my husband’s Father’s Day gift photos. I painted the sides purples and the front yellow to match her accent wall.
I hung all three pieces above her loft bed in a gallery style. I will probably add to it later.
They match her accent wall and the frames I painted as well.
Her room is coming along! Now I just need to hang a curtain under her loft bed so that I can show you the rest of her room (it’s too messy under there now… ha!).
