Easy Felt Flower
I love working with felt because it’s so easy to work with. I thought these felt flower napkin rings and pins would be great for Teacher’s Appreciation Day, Mother’s Day brunch, or for a springtime table setting. I have made felt flowers before and these are SUPER quick and easy. You can also make them in so many different colors to fit any special occasion or holiday.
Materials:
- Felt
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Rope or Pin
Time: 15 Minutes
Instructions:
First cut two pieces of 2.5”X9” pieces.
Fold them in half lengthwise and glue them together with hot glue.
Fringe both pieces with scissors.
Start with the color you want as the center of the flower and role and glue it to form a flower. It will look like this on the bottom.
It will look like this on top.
Next wrap the second piece around and secure it with glue as you roll along.
This is your flower.
If you like, cut out and glue on leaves.
Cut a piece of rope for the napkin ring and glue the ends together with hot glue.
Glue the flower on top of the ring covering the seam.
Here are some after photos!
Add a pin and a special tag that says, “thank you for helping me bloom” and give it to your favorite teacher for Teacher’s Appreciation Day!
