Skull Wine Charms DIY
I saw a bag of mini skulls and I HAD to buy them. Wow…I never thought I’d say that! Ha! I do love decorating for Halloween. In fact, I can’t wait to show you my decorations this year later this week. Skulls happen to be one of the main decorating elements. I think they look cool and look even better when they are glittered or even jeweled. For these mini skulls, my inspiration was one of my old friends that LOVES all things skulls AND all things wine, so why not make a Skull Wine Charms DIY?
Materials:
- Halloween Mini Skulls
- Small Plastic Gems
- Hoop Earring Notions
- Plastic Beads
- Glue
Aren’t these little Halloween skulls cute? I also used them as part of a mini graveyard scene inside small apothecary jars for my Halloween decorations this year.
I used a hot glue gun for this, but regular glue works well. To add a little color and interest, I added colorful plastic beads in the eye sockets. If you have difficulty picking them up, tweezers work well.
Anytime my daughter has a play necklace that breaks, I salvage all the beads and keep them in a jar. I just happen to have matching beads for these wine charms. I strung the beads (one on each side) and the skulls on a hoop earring notion, to use as the wine charm.
That’s it! It took no time and these little cuties are ready for a Halloween party, or to gift them as a gift to a skull-lover friend like mine!!
Hmm, very creative idea!
And spoooooky?? Thanks Sarah!
