DIY Ribbon Christmas Tree Ornaments
These DIY ribbon Christmas tree ornaments are so simple to make. With only a few supplies, this craft is great for kids, teens, and adults. Change the ribbon colors and patterns to fit your Christmas tree décor.
Time: 20 Minutes
Materials:
We collected branches outside. They are about three inches long. I started tying from the bottom up. I found that it was easiest to cut longer ribbon and then trim. So, cut the smallest manageable size for your fingers to tie and then trim as you go. I cut the ends in an angle. Lastly, cut another contrasting piece of ribbon to tie in a bow at the top. I used twine as a hanger.
This is a great craft for school, girl scouts, or even craft night with your friends. Consider mixing and matching different colors, patterns, and textures of ribbon. You can also play around with the sizes and make a larger ornament.
Note: Choose a texture of ribbon that is stiff but easy to tie in a knot. The type of ribbon you select will depend on the size of the Christmas tree.
