Furniture Makeovers Before and After
Fun Furniture Makeovers Before and After
If you couldn’t tell already by my past posts, I love it when old furniture is upcycled or repurposed into something new and fabulous. Go green and get eco-friendly (and budget-friendly) by turning trash into treasure. Here are some fabulous furniture makeovers with some of my inspiring favorites. Most of them only need a few materials.
Old Dresser MaKeover

Update a Dresser with Stencils
Add some color with stencils and spray paint. This was an old wooden IKEA dresser and I used stencil tape and spray paint to add some color and use in my dressing room and walk in closet. This style and idea also works well for extra storage in a teen bedroom.
Materials Needed
- Paint
- Stencils
- Paint Brush
Transform a Tabletop
Use something unusual to add character to a table top. I used epoxy to add a pretty shiny penny top to this metal folding table.
Materials Needed
- Epoxy Kit
- Pennies

Give Life to an Outdated Folding Chair
Makeover a thrifted folding chair. I found this one looking pretty rough at the Salvation Army for $15, but wish there was a pair. I am staying on the lookout for a match.
Materials Needed
- Paint
- Spray Paint
- Painter’s Tape
- Fabric
- Scissors
- Staple gun

Cute ideas! Great blog!
Love your ideas and style. The grey chair is so cool and using the coins on the table is inspiring.
