Mickey Mouse Inspired DIY Gift Card Holder
Make an Easy DIY Gift Card Holder out of Circle Craft Punches
“The manner of giving is worth more than the gift.” – Pierre Corneille
As much as I enjoy shopping or gifts, it’s inevitable that I will have to buy a few gift cards. Some people are just too hard to by for. This year, my brother is taking a little getaway with some friends to Disneyland so I bought him a Disney gift card to use for whatever he needs.
Time: 20 Minutes
Materials:
The materials listed include affiliate links to recommended products that I use.
- Scrapbook Paper (2 colors and/or patterns)
- 3.5” Circle Punch
- 2” Circle Punch
- 1.5” Circle Punch
- Glue
- Ribbon
Instructions:
Cut out four 3.5” circles and fold them in half. Next, layer them to form a square as shown. Use a glue stick to glue the square envelop together.
Place the gift card inside and fold the flaps over and glue.
Cut out one 2” circle and two 1.5” circles. Glue them to the envelop to form a mickey Mouse head. Add a bow for Minnie! Tie a ribbon around the gift card holder.
Change up the colors and patterns to fit the holiday or celebration. This isn’t just for Christmas but birthdays, anniversaries, or showers.
