I have to admit, I know nothing about Minecraft. I mean, I can’t help but be familiar with the characters, designs, and colors because the game is so popular and omnipresent. But, when Courtney showed me her Minecraft birthday party, I about fainted. Between her creative genius and her husband’s carpentry skills, this party was absolutely amazing.
Let’s start with the food. Courtney set up a beautiful spread filled with Minecraft inspired goodies. She had different elements represented:
- Coal- Rock Candy
- Diamonds – Rock Candy
- Dirt – Brownies
- Gold – Chocolate Bars
- Iron – Chocolate Bars
- Water – Jello Squares
She also had TNT boxes filled with liquorish as part favors.
To drink she served punch and called it “Creeper Juice”.
For decorations she designed different signs, a birthday banner, and a giant Minecraft art piece.
She also made Minecraft heads for the guests to wear and use for the piñata.
She made and painted wooden Minecraft swords as well.
The kids looked like they had a blast when experimenting with soda and mentos outside.
Now for the best part, Courtney and her husband transformed their backyard into a giant Minecraft game and adventure area complete with water slide, bridge, and tunnel. How awesome is this??
If you missed Courtney’s Minnie Mouse party, you have to check it out! It is just as amazing as this one.
