Summer Couples Olympics Party
In honor of the Olympics this summer, we decided to celebrate with a summer Couples Olympics party. You may be familiar with our crazy annual Couples Olympics parties. Here are the last three years in case you missed them. They were SO much fun.
This year was pretty amazing. We were lucky enough to have it sponsored by Bounty. There were so many great photos, I had to break them up into a few posts You can check out all the great food as well as the kid’s games and crafts we did, and the hilarious adult games we played.
We started off the party by explaining all the new events. We changed them up for this special summer edition with Minute to Win It inspired games. We had several games for both the adults and kids.
After the “opening ceremonies” we passed out the team gear which included colored wigs, pompoms
, whistles
, sunglasses, and other cool gear in each team’s color.
The house was ready for the games both inside and out. Inside, our scoreboard was all lined up and the coveted winter Olympics trophy
was displayed. Outside, our event tables were ready, the game table displayed each event, and the kids craft table was set up.
This year, we had a photo area with a cardboard cut-out of Olympian Allyson Felix. We had some photo booth props for the teams to use. Here are a few pictures of our teams.
Thanks to Bounty, we had swag bags for the adults and kids. They were filled with coupons, sunglasses, candy, earbuds, and a bunch of other goodies.
We also had participation trophies and medals for the kids.
