Six Recycled Crafts for Earth Day
Recycled Crafts for Earth Day
Earth Day falls on April 22nd. This year is the 54th anniversary since the start of Earth Day in 1970. Earth Day activities often include planting trees, cleaning up litter and waste, advocating for environmental policies, and raising awareness about various environmental issues such as pollution, climate change, deforestation, and conservation of biodiversity. Earth Day serves as a reminder of the importance of taking action to preserve and protect the planet for future generations. To celebrate creative recycling efforts we are sharing favorite recycled crafts for Earth Day.
Recycle versus Upcycle: What is the difference?
Recycling and upcycling are both approaches to dealing with waste materials, but they involve different processes and outcomes. Recycling involves converting waste materials into reusable raw materials that can be used to create new products. Upcycling involves creatively repurposing waste materials or unwanted items into new products of higher quality or value. Upcycling often involves artistic or creative processes to transform items into something new and desirable. Both approaches play important roles in reducing waste and promoting sustainable practices.
Here are some favorite upcycle craft ideas.
