DIY Furniture Makeovers Anyone Can Do
Easy DIY Ideas:Â DIY Furniture Makeovers Anyone Can Do
I love thrift shopping and garage sale hunting. When I take a piece of furniture home, I honestly just figure it out as I go.Â
Check out my trash to treasure guide for why you should buy furniture secondhand. It also includes a list of trash to treasure tips and project ideas.
I find that most of these makeovers I do are pretty easy and be completed in a few hours or less. I thought I’d put together some of my favorites to date; some DIY Furniture Makeovers Anyone Can Do!
Spray Painted Chevron Dresser DIY
This dresser is probably my favorite so far. In fact it is featured in the new FREE Krylon ebook, Make it Yours: How To Spray Paint Furniture, Home Decor Projects, Holiday Crafts and More with Krylon Spray Paint! You can download it free here! Oh! And did I mention it’s on the cover???
I found this ottoman for $5.00 and ended up making it over twice!
I upcycled these old stools for my twin God Daughters.
A $5.00 score at a local garage sale; it was towards the end of the day and the lady just wanted it out! I ended up re-painting the same red and upholstering the top. It’s now a fun and colorful bench that sits at the foot of my guestroom bed.
You know that garage sale I was just talking about? Yeah… I got these night stands for $5.00 a piece too!Â
This one was a Salvation Army find that I HAD to have. I asked my Facebook friends what color to paint it. Love how it turned out!
These TV trays were sitting in my coat room closet for YEARS! They needed a little oomph so that I could take them out again.
Blue Thrift Store Shelf Makeover
I found this beauty for $5.00 at Goodwill. I fell in love with the lines and knew that with a little TLC I could give it some personality.
