Knowing how to make easy paper flowers is one of my super powers. They are so addicting to make! So grab your materials and watch this quick one-minute video to show you how to make them.

The Best Circle Punches
Before we begin, I often get asked, where I get my circle punches. You will see in the three videos that I use different brands, however, over the years of making these I have found that Fiskars brand punches work the best. Here are some Amazon Affiliate links to my recommended punches that I love and use all the time. I personally like the squeeze punches better than the lever punches.
- 1 inch Squeeze Punch
- 1.5 inch Squeeze Punch
- 2 inch Squeeze Punch
- 1 inch Lever Punch (M)
- 2 inch Lever Punch (XL)
As far as the flower punch in these videos, I don’t have the link for the exact one, however here is a good one that is very similar and will work well for these flowers.
8 petal circle punch paper flowers
This first video I made is shown on my Instagram. I made a quick tutorial as an Instagram Reel. I used this technique to wrap my husband’s anniversary present. Here is a photo.
Time: 10 Minutes
Materials:
- Paper
- Circle Punches in 2 different Sizes
- Flower Punch
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
Instructions:
- Punch 5 petals with the large circle punch.
- Stack all five together and fold them in them in half. Glue them onto the gift in a flower shape.
- Punch 3 petals with the small circle punch and fold them in half.
- Glue them in the center of the 5 larger petals.
- Punch out a flower and fold the petals in. Glue the small flower in the center.

5 Petal overlap Circle Punch Paper Flowers
This second flower is very similar to the first tutorial, however, instead of gluing each petal separately, you connect each petal by overlapping them.
Here is what they look like and here is another black and gold version of them as well as a three petal version.
Time:Â 10 Minutes
Materials:
- Colored Paper
- Circle Punch
- Flower Punch
- Double Sided Tape or Hot glue
I like to use them for gift wrapping embellishments. I also use them for making homemade cards. They can be made in all sizes so they also work great as party décor. You can hang them on a wall or place several various sizes on a table for a centerpiece. They are so versatile.

4 Circle Paper Flower Rosettes
Time: 10 Minutes
Materials:
- Circle Punches
- Glue
- Paper
- Scissors
Instructions:
Make these pretty rosettes in three simple steps.
- Punch out four circles.
- Fold each circle into fourths, leaving the edges rounded and pinching the pointed center.
- Glue the four petals down to form a circle shaped flower. I used hot glue because it’s my glue of choice, however white glue and a glue stick works well too.
